Guiding Questions
Before you jump into a new year, it helps to pause and look back at how far you've come. These questions walk you through what worked, what you learned, and what you want the next twelve months to look like, so you start the year feeling clear instead of just busy.
Accounting Glossary
QuickBooks throws around words like accounts payable and reconcile, and if you don't have an accounting background, it can feel like a foreign language. This glossary breaks down the terms you'll actually run into, in plain English, so the next time you see one, you know exactly what it means.
Step-by-Step Guide to Closing Out Your Books Each Month
When you close your books each month, tax season stops being something you dread. This step-by-step checklist shows you exactly what to do at the end of every month, so your books stay caught up and you're not facing a whole year of catch-up at once.
RECOMMENDATIONS
My Favoriteย Books
A good book has gotten me through more than one hard season in business, and a few of them have changed the way I think about money and my time. These are the ones I come back to and recommend most when someone asks me where to start.
Must-Haveย Office Supplies
I've loved office supplies since I was a kid, long before I had a business to justify it. These are the pens, journals, and little things I reach for every day, including the erasable pens I use to keep my calendar exactly how I like it.
Inspirational Decks
I'm a little obsessed with card decks. I keep them around my office and pull one whenever I need a small reminder to slow down or shift my mindset, and these are the ones I love most and end up gifting to the people I care about.

If you're setting up QuickBooks Online for the first time, use our link and save 30% for your first twelve months.
We use Airtable to track our data and keep it synced with our other tools. We had a different tool once that shut down on us, so reliability matters to me, and this one delivers.
This is how we keep our whole team organized and make sure nothing slips through the cracks. If you run on systems and processes, you'll love it.
ย
This is where we create everything, our graphics, our PDFs, our YouTube thumbnails, all of it. You can use it from anywhere, and I recommend the Pro account for the extra features.
Claude is what we use to optimize our workflow, build systems, and analyze our data, and it connects with QuickBooks Online securely so you can understand your numbers and save time.
This is the one I reach for if you want to store your documents and photos and have a backup system that syncs straight from your phone. I still back up everything to Dropbox every single day.
One of my favorite tools that gives me the ability to share my screen and slides, whether I'm recording a YouTube video or training on Zoom. If you're a Mac user, I highly recommend it.
We switched to Google Workspace so the whole team could share files in one place, and so I'd always own everything my team creates, even after someone moves on. If you have a team, this is where I'd start.
This is the website we use to host all of our courses and our community. I've used it for years, it's reliable, and I recommend it to anyone building an online training business.
